How does Suslight translate its sustainable business policy into the real world:

For personnel and production (Governance & Customers)

Our sustainable company policy is also important for our employees. There we strive for a healthy working environment, without exploitation and child labour.

All lighting is designed by Suslight itself and then produced in our own factory. In order to limit the emission of harmful substances as much as possible, our products are transported by train wherever possible. Upon arrival in the Netherlands, these are stored in our fully CO2 neutral warehouse.

Because the production process is supervised by us from A to Z, we know for sure that we comply with this part of our company policy and that gives a good feeling!!

For community and our re-sellers (Community)

As a company, we find it important to be involved in the community.

For example, we have a number of our products assembled at the social workshop Gresbo in Nunspeet.

We also donate 1% of the turnover to certified charities.

In addition, our customers and suppliers are never put under pressure to improve our own margins. Together you can move forward is our motto!

Furthermore, we do as much business as possible with companies that have the same company policy as Suslight.

Between September 2021 and January 2022, we were the subject of an educational project at Saxion Hogeschool Almelo. In this way, knowledge from both sides is shared.

For the environment (Enviroment)

This is our biggest pride and we have already achieved a top score for this 2 times! (Best for the World Honoree 2017 & 2018)

Suslight leads the market in energy efficiency, this means low energy costs combined with low energy consumption.

Suslight also leads the market in terms of longevity. Our lighting lasts no less than three times longer than other brands.

Our ‘made for disassembly’ principle ensures that the raw materials from the lamps can be reused, which in turn ensures a low ecological footprint.

In addition, we use transport by train as much as possible, our warehouse is completely CO2 neutral and we ship our products in recycled packaging materials. As a result, emissions at chain level are particularly low.

Sustainability does not stop at the meaningful use of raw materials and the reduction of emissions in the chain.

The use of LED lighting with a blue spectrum has a negative impact on the biological clock of people, animals and plants during the dark hours. The light that Suslight uses therefore has an adapted spectrum in which the light quality is maintained and the influence on plants, animals and people is kept to a minimum. In addition, the lighting of Suslight can easily be controlled light and time, so that the lighting is only lit when necessary.

The circle of material!

In 2022, we set ourselves a new goal. We start by taking in old lighting. Our re-seller, your gardener or installer, will take the old lighting with you. They hand this in to us and we process it. This way you almost unnoticed participate in the recycling of something that would otherwise have disappeared in the waste container.

We only work with outdoor LED designed by ourselves.By using the latest technology with the best quality, the lighting is good for 75,000 thousand burning hours.
Due to this high quality, we offer a 5-year warranty on all our products.
